Collectors Robert Reynolds and Stephen Shutts travel across the U.S. in search of music history's most treasured finds, scouring local flea markets and garage sales to discover personal, and sometimes valuable, music memorabilia. From finding a vintage jukebox that once belonged to Johnny Cash, to potential items from such artists as Elvis, Hank Williams Jr., Nirvana, Cheap Trick and Led Zeppelin, each episode embarks on a fun, light-hearted and often unexpected quest.

Rock Gods, as a followup to the much loved but short-lived S.O.S. Fantome, officially established The Valley Pals as recognizable, bankable talent within the 101 universe. The second episode in particular felt like a group of young writer/performers truly finding their own unique voice, after which point it's easy to imagine that the tedious chore of animating this show became less attractive. Having realized that they could probably get just as many votes for one tenth the labor, The Valley Pals voluntarily retired their own hit show by going over the time limit in a very memorable fourth episode.

In this western, a frontier detective disguised as an entertainer performs for the leader of an outlaw gang. At the same time, he learns the whereabouts of the outlaws' hideout. Unfortunately, his true identity is revealed and he must escape if he is to bring the gang to justice.

One man wants to control all the land in the state to graze all his cattle. His band of outlaws are raiding ranchers and homesteaders, trying to drive them out. Rocky and Fuzzy are brought in to help stop the raiders and keep the land for the small ranchers and homesteaders.

During the latter stages of the Civil War, a gang of supposed Confederates, headed by Alex Morel (Lionel Atwill), raid all gold shipments destined for Washington from Oro Grande, California. Can they be brought to justice?

Dick Manning (Richard Arlen) and Andy "Hammer" McCoy (Andy Devine), neither one any smarter than the other, stow away on a ship to what they think will be to California but wind up in Arabia. They wind up in Libertahd, where despot-ruler Sheik Talifer (Ralf Harolde) and his henchman,Hassen Mohammed (Turhan Bey), quell all attempts to modernize the country. Dick romances an American secretary,Alice Evans (Linda Hayes and Andy tries his luck with local girl,Zuleika (Maria Montez), and aided by Abdullah (Lewis Howard), an opportunistic cab driver, manage, with some stock footage from "I Cover the War", to bring about some cultural changes.

A band of Thai mercenaries embark on one last mission to save a general after the Fall of Saigon. Posing as Chinese Red Guard, they infiltrate a compound and regain the general only to be given chase. Racing to the shore, while picking up several female soldiers, they escape on a fishing boat with their pursuers in toe. The jungle island both parties reach happens to be a leper colony, and while the horribly disfigured inhabitants are friendly, they become pawns in the ensuing battle. Now the mercs must dig in for their lives against a Red Guard commander who just doesn't relent.

After searching for a year through the industry archives and an appeal to the public for clips from old TV shows, Paddy McGuinness presents the results in four programmes. In each programme he reunites some well known stars with bits of their early footage that they assumed would never be seen again!
